Residential Groups
The Centre is set in the stunning surroundings of Torbay Geopark with easy access to both the land and sea. This enables us to offer a programme tailored specifically to meet your needs, selected from a wide range of outdoor adventurous activities. The Centre is available all year round for week & weekend residential visits although the length of stay can vary according to the time of year and other bookings. Nestled cosily on the waters' edge, the historic fishing port of Brixham is only a 5 minute walk away along the pedestrianised promenade, with the beach and Breakwater a similar distance in the opposite direction.
A key feature of any stay at Grenville House is the welcoming atmosphere provided by the comfortable surroundings. This is complemented by our friendly, approachable staff who do everything possible to make the Centre feel like home. Unless you have chosen to share the Centre, the main building is exclusive to the resident group providing peace of mind for the lead staff.
Most groups choose to follow a full Outdoor Education programme as a vehicle for personal development, which combined with the residential experience creates the perfect base for enhancing life-skills. Whatever you choose to do we will make it safe, and most importantly fun.
A maximum group size of up to 81 persons can be accommodated. This would typically comprise of up to 60 children/young people (i.e. 10 activity groups) with space for up to 21 staff/leaders.
Everything you need can be provided, including catering and activities, leaving you to concentrate on the needs of your group.
